How IT WORKS
Registration: Amateur sports group representatives sign up here to enroll their athletes in the Amateur Anti-Doping program. The kits are voluntarily funded by the athletes themselves through their amateur sports group registration fees.
Distribution: Upon approval, amateur sports group representatives receive the kits and distribute them to the athletes who have volunteered to participate in the program.
Sample Collection: Participating athletes either send their urine samples to a local lab or to our partners—Clinilabs or MyHealthcare Clinics—for analysis, or they may bring their kit to any Aster Hospitals & Clinics location to provide a blood sample.
While Awaiting Results: Athletes should use this time to review and familiarize themselves with the testicular self-exam guide included in the kit.
Follow-Up Care: If urine or blood test results indicate the presence of testicular cancer markers, or if anything unusual is noticed during self-examinations, athletes are encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional immediately for medical evaluation and guidance.
Ongoing Prevention: Stay proactive—making monthly testicular self-exams a regular habit can help detect problems early and potentially save lives, regardless of blood test results.
What If Your Test Is Positive?
A positive result does not confirm testicular cancer, it flags a biomarker that could potentially indicate it. So, stay calm and see your nearest doctor for a full evaluation as soon as possible.
